Hands-on with Xbox 360’s new "Games on Demand"

Today the Xbox 360 dashboard update goes live for the masses—now you too can purchase branded clothing for your avatar! The update adds some much-needed functionality to areas like Netflix streaming—though you’re still stuck browsing movies, not searching for them—but the ability to purchase full games over Xbox Live and play them without a disc may prove to be the most forward-looking feature added to the service.
