T-Mobile myTouch Slide in the wild?

T-Mobile myTouch Slide in the wild?

With the G1 on its last legs, the CLIQ stands as T-Mobile USA’s only QWERTY Android set — and for a carrier that seems as committed to Android as T-Mobile does, that doesn’t seem right, now, does it? Indeed, that rumored myTouch Slide looks like it’s going to get real here pretty shortly now that we’re seeing shots of the thing in the wild, and… well, it looks nothing like the original myTouch 3G (and even less like the Fender edition). Beauty is certainly in the eye of the beholder — and we’d want to wait until we see this in the flesh — but the myTouch Slide appears to lack the old model’s attractive contours, sticking with a spartan design strangely paired to a chrome-ringed earpiece. Besides the clear addition of an optical pad here (something we’d previously heard HTC would be pushing hard in 2010), it’s apparently got an HVGA display, externally accessible microSD slot, camera with flash, and unfortunately, an old-school ARM11 processor. We’re holding out hope that T-Mobile has plenty of higher-end gear waiting in the wings, but for now, this looks like the G1’s true spiritual successor.

Ukraine war memorial given eternal LED torch, cell antenna

Ukraine war memorial given eternal LED torch, cell antenna

An eternal flame that once blazed via good old fashioned science has now been given a new lease on life thanks to modern technology. This Cherkassy, Ukraine war monument, erected in honor of fallen World War 2 soldiers, had been sitting extinguished given the price of natural gas after the fall of the Soviet Union. Now, though, the bowl has been gifted with a LED marquee simulating a flame, which covers up its alternate use as a cell tower. Sure, beauty’s in the eye of the beholder and we’re fairly certain this hasn’t been accepted with universal approval, but if you ask us, and admittedly we’re biased, the more LEDs the better.

What Is Beauty And Why People Have Different Opinion On That?

Some said that beauty is a subjective matter and others said the beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I really curious when most people said that Giselle Bunchen (just an example) very beautiful but for me she not that beautiful.
Is there any scientific research on this matter? I once heard that people with symmetrical face (like a mirror at the centre) is considered very beautiful.

Beauty…..?

you know that saying that beauty is in the eye of the beholder? well, that’s partly true. i’ve noticed that extremely beautiful people are thought by everyone as beautiful, and if youre just okay-looking, then some people may think you are pretty, while some peope won’t. and and everyone agrees on if someone is unattractive. so, technically, beauty mostly isn’t in the eye of the beholder. know what i mean? what do you think?
