Is there any way to research family history online without any cost whatsoever? Any sites you could recommend my dads family which I’d like to research are from Ireland!

Following my Mothers death I now have scores of old family photos I would like to put online for the benefit of my kids and their kids who seem to have lost that sense of “family”. I am not sure about free sites as they have a habit of closing down. But I dont want to spend a fortune on a professioanl website either. Any suggestions?

An online one offering help with family history, what services could I offer and how much should I charge? On a personal note, do you think this is a good idea?

Just a curious guy by nature.Doing some reading and wondering how much people’s medical family history can be overcome by minimizing controllable risk factors?
You hear of families with histories of serious illnesses, realizing that genetics can be a frightening thing. So in some families are people almost assuredly handed an early death sentence, even with a highly healthy lifestyle or can someone make a family history nearly irrelevant?

My Mum said she’d always liked to know where our family’s from and where it all begins, so I’d like to find a website where I can find out about it. Please help me, I don’t mind registering for websites but I don’t want to pay any fees or charges.

No websites that require you to sign up. Please! I have a huge family history project and no websites have anything on my family. Im so incredibly desprete. I have all this info on my grandpa but i have to go back farther than him, and we dont know who his grandparents are. Thanks for the help, whoever you are, your a life saver!

I, along with most true sports fans have long considered baseball’s homerun record the most hallowed(important) sports record around. Now that all of baseball’s stats have been tainted by steriods (especially Barry Binds and the HR record) what do you think is the most impprtant sports record around?

I only know 2 of my family names so how am I supposed to trace my family history?
I’ve been on ancestory but don’t really understand it,can you help please?
